Mourning 3 quick pick, FAST MONEY

3 quick winners to start the opening weekend of college football. Spartans, Noles, and Illini. 2 Favorites and an underdog. Let's go baby, have a great start to a phenomenal year.

Western Michigan

Michigan State -22.5

Little school, big school. No upset alert here, the Spartans gead coach, Dantonio was 18-17 in three seasons at Cincinnati and is 22-17 in three seasons at MSU. Langsing State Journal reported, “Already, he is approaching rare territory with the Spartans.” With hype like this, I expect MSU to run Western out the building.

Samford
Florida State -38.5-110

Look for a wallop, a blow out. The Seminoles come in big favorites against the littlest of schools, Samford. Bobby Bowden will be watching from home in the first time years as new coach. New coach Jimbo Fisher will look to beat up on a huge underdog. visiting Division I-AA Samford, was among the nation's most worst last year. They allowed an average of 30 points and 434.6 yards per game, 94th and 108th.

Illinois +13
Missouri

Last year, head coach Pinkel led Missouri to a 12-2 record, a school record. Missouri won its first-ever Big 12 North division title. The Tigers beat Arkansas in the Cotton Bowl for their first New Year's Day bowl win since 1966, along with earing their first No. 1 ranking for the first time since 1960. Illinois coach Ron Zook will look to break the 3 game losing streak against coach Pinkel. Illinois team comes in a hostile environment down in St. Lous. Illinois has a great opportunity to compete with a top level team and show their worth.
